Ok, here is my gripe. I have been making a very good attempt to be more conscious of what goes into landfills and preserving our beautiful country, blah, blah, blah. Now I am not talking about using cloth napkins or going to the bathroom outdoors or anything really drastic. But I have been trying to recycle. We use a lot of Milk jugs and plastic in general so I was feeling like we shouldn't just keep dumping it into the landfills. We also have bins in our garage for glass, aluminum, and steel (I know what you are thinking....that is over the top).
However, has anyone tried to recycle in our town?? Every time I go to take my stuff to the recycle bin it is full! Come on already, post a sign that says when they pick up that sh*t so I won't load my car and go down there when it is probably full( As if I am taking that stuff back to my house). And today I was so mad that I put the plastic in the aluminum and I don't feel bad about it at all. With every other commercial pushing America to go green, give us the tools already! Ok, I am done

Pimp Farley
Ross likes to wear costumes. Over the years, we have kept our Halloween costumes in the basement for the boys to play. They have a wide variety of pirates, ninjas, star wars and spider men (red & black). He combined some of them last week to come up with one of the coolest costumes ever... Pimp Farley.
On a side note, please keep him in your prayers as he is getting tubes in the morning. The doctor gave us a special on them and we couldn't pass it up. Hopefully, he will be able to hear better in the future. Right now, it is very selective. Thanks!

Cole's Birthday Pictures
Here are some shots from his birthday. He really had a great day. We had a party for him with grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. We even had a visit from Princess Lea and Queen Ashley. The sleepover went really well. The boys were very good. Finally, we had to tell them to go to bed at four in the morning. Cole got lots of great presents including this Nintendo DS and a kitty.

A+
Dr. Michael Smith gets an A+. He was done in about 10 minutes. Apparently, he has done this procedure several thousand times. I wonder if he gets paid by the hour? Anyway, we are home and Luke is doing just fine. He was crying earlier when the anesthesia wore off, but now he is happy and playing. Thanks for all the comments, thoughts & prayers.

Colonel Sanders?
I don't think so. It is our very own Luke Jyles. I just wanted to post this cute picture of him and ask that you keep him in your prayers. In the morning, he is getting tubes in his ears. It is a common procedure, but it is still surgery and they do put him out. And, of course, I am nervous about it. Thank you all very much!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COLE!!!
Today, Cole is eight years old. Seems like just yesterday, we were bringing him home from the hospital. In 8 short years from now, he will be driving. Scary! The time really does fly when you're having fun. Tonight, we are having a party with his grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. And, he is having a sleepover with three of his friends. Again, scary!

Dad's Birthday
Well, since I have taken links off our blog of people that never update their blogs (you're next Tim) and since I have been hounded by some people (that's you Susie), here are some pictures I would like to share from Dad's birthday to update our blog. On a side note, deer hunting is slowing down, so I'll be able to keep up with the blog a little better.

Wedding Pictures Part III
These two are a part of the the famous Leffler triplets, Kate & Colleen. What are they singing? And, is it in the right key? Kate probably didn't know that she would end up being married to a famous rock star. This audition probably sealed the deal.
Here is my brother-in-law, Evan Bunton and Emily Allen, trying to dance to black music. He's got moves for a white guy!

Wedding Pictures Part II
Wow, where do I start here... These famous couples all ended up getting married and are all still married (as far as I know). In the back, you have David & Melanie Herndon (married before us). Front row, left to right, Mike & Cheryl Stone, Kent Schafer (who married at a later date at an undisclosed location), Cory & Julie Finn.
This picture lives on in infamy. Wade Eaton with a head full of hair and Chris Parr who is now a preacher and has married several of our friends. They are dancing to Cotten Eyed Joe. And, I think they were the only two dancing. Scary!

Wedding Pictures Part I
Does anybody remember this guy? Rumor has it that he is living in the homo capital of the United States and still single. Coincidence? Just kidding... this is my old friend Michael Weber and the truth is that he stole this wine bottle from the bar and didn't share. Tsk. Tsk.
Who could forget this famous couple? "We were on a break!" Yeah, we've all heard that one before, right? This is Will & Jenny Fritchley. Recently made famous by having three kids under three years and then quickly moving to a trailer. That's right, we have friends in low places...

Deer Hunting
Well, deer season officially opened for me this week. I have been bow hunting several times. Every night at supper, we tell about our best and worst parts of the day. Well, the first night that I went hunting, I said that the best part of my day was that I finally got to go deer hunting, but the worst part was that I didn't get anything. Later, on the way to bed, Ross looks up at me and says, "I'm sorry you didn't shoot a deer." I said, "That's ok Ross, maybe tomorrow." He says, "Maybe you're just not good at hunting." I said, "Thanks, Ross. Goodnight." PS - I took this picture of a deer, so maybe I can shoot one after all.

Trick or Treat
Here are a couple pictures of the boys for Trick or Treat. Cole & Ross both went as spooky creatures and Luke went as Frogger. We had to be extra careful crossing the road.

Trunk or Treat
Last week was the Trunk or Treat for the Cub Scouts. We went as big Cardinal fans. Cole won first place for Best Athlete. There was also a Mummy Wrap and Build-a-Scarecrow. The boys all had a great time. Note the king and queen in the background. That is Rick & Tracy Dow. Nice costumes!

Daddy's Team
Luke has his gear on and he ready to play on my team. Thought I would share a few pictures of the little guy since the last post was about the big boys. Everything has to be fair at our house.
