Yesterday was the Pinewood Derby for our local Cub Scouts. The boys were all really excited about the races. Our boys worked very hard on their cars along with me and Papaw Kent. Cole ran with the scouts and got second place in his den. Ross ran in the open class and won his races with gusto. You can check out the blog on the Cub Scouts for all the standings.

Is Ross in Scouts? How old do you have to be?
You have to be in first grade to do scouts. Most of the little brothers and sisters make cars also for the derby and then they can race in the "open" class at the end of the derby.
Ross is an "honorary" member. He goes to most of the meetings as do alot of the other siblings.
Looks like fun! Glad the boys did well.
