This past month, we have spent several weekends riding four-wheelers, taking jeep rides and just hanging out at the river. Yesterday, Papaw Dave and I spent several hours mowing trails, cutting brush and moving dirt to make a campsite down on their ground. In a couple weeks, we are taking the boys camping along with Dave & Glenda and Evan & Ashley and anybody else that wants to pitch a tent. We'll be swimming, fishing and roasting our wieners. We are still trying to figure out the latrine situation.

boy, there is nothing like roasting your ole weiner down along the river. Take those boys to the river every chance you get. The Diel boys spent many, many hours at the river when Grandma Diel did not know (not sure she cared as long as we were out of her hair)and I am a firm believer that the old Ambraw is a character builder. Come to think of it, I really doubt that Farley boys will need character building, its apparent that those boys are already characters!
Sounds like you are building lots of memories. Good thing you have boys, who probably aren't very concerned about the bathroom situation!
We have had a lot of fun and we have certainly seen some characters. I see more people at the river on a weekend than I do around town. This is the boys first river fishing expedition, so should be a good time.
I bet your boys have fun, no matter what they are doing. I am sure they will have a blast on their fishing trip!!
